As we begin our 17th year of breaking the cycle of poverty through education, I am delighted to express my heartfelt appreciation for your support of our educational mission in the 2016-17 school year. Your continued generosity ensures that our current students and their families, as well as all 278 of our graduates, have access to De Marillac Academy’s life-changing educational experience.
Every day, our faculty and staff create a nurturing, yet rigorous educational environment for our students and graduates. We strive to graduate students who are academically prepared, able to reach their full potential, and are service-oriented leaders. It is through the generosity of those who partner with us in this mission that De Marillac Academy can achieve such outcomes.
On behalf of the entire De Marillac Academy family–our students, families, graduates, faculty, staff and our Board of Trustees–it is my pleasure to share with you our 2016-17 Honor Roll of Donors. Thank you for your continued support of De Marillac!
Thank you for your partnership in the De Marillac Academy mission.

Every day at De Marillac Academy, we join with the underserved families of the Tenderloin and surrounding areas to strive toward breaking the cycle of poverty through education. This partnership, and our vision to equip our children with the academic and life skills to reach their full potential, is made possible by the individuals, foundations, businesses and families whose generous commitment to De Marillac is reflected throughout our 2013-14 Annual Report. On behalf of our students and graduates, I thank you for your investment in our De Marillac Academy mission. Your support is even more impressive—and essential—given the adverse childhood experiences that confront our students and graduates.
This Annual Report illustrates our collective efforts, wherein the inspirational perseverance of our students is matched by the significant generosity demonstrated by our school sponsors, benefactors and volunteers. I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with you and our Tenderloin community. Thank you for your dedication to De Marillac Academy.

I am delighted that you are part of De Marillac Academy’s mission in the Tenderloin, and I am proud to share our 2012-2013 Annual Report with you. These pages highlight the impact that you, our community of benefactors and volunteers, are making upon our students, graduates, and families. I remain inspired by your demonstrated commitment to our important work, and also acknowledge the tremendous leadership and support of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, the Daughters of Charity, our Board of Trustees, and our dedicated faculty and staff.
At De Marillac Academy, we believe that neighborhood of residence and socio-economic status should not determine a child’s access to quality education or ultimate success in life. Every day, De Marillac partners with low-income families to break the cycle of poverty through education. This gift of ministering to the young entrusted to our care is made all the more special thanks to your partnership.
