Syeda Aaliya Fatima Hamdani has been teaching for 36 years, which has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. Syeda Aaliya joined De Marillac Academy in March 2023 as Math Intervention Teacher and loves her position as she gets to interact with students from grade 4 to grade 8. With a mathematics degree and specialization in the same field, especially for middle and high school students, she is experienced in one-on-one tutoring and group instruction of Math.

Ms. Aaliya has helped many international students achieve their academic goals, year after year, and she knows that her DMA students are more than capable of doing the same with the support of De Marillac, their families, and the community. She is committed to professional ethics, standards of practice, and the care and education of young children.

Ms. Aaliya moved to the United States from Pakistan in 2020. She loves math so much that at times in her free time, she plays math games.
