This year marks Kiana’s first at DMA! Originally from Portland, OR, Kiana recently relocated to San Francisco. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, complemented by Minors in Ethnic Studies and Spanish. She then spent her gap year exploring countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Kiana's passion for teaching has driven her to embrace every opportunity to engage in the classroom. Her experience includes roles as a preschool and kindergarten co-teacher, substitute teacher, and tutor for college athletes. Outside the classroom, she delights in arts and crafts, enjoys the company of cats, and treasures time spent with loved ones. Kiana is excited to contribute to the DMA community as an Associate Teacher for the class of 2026 and looks forward to collaborating with her new colleagues and students.
