Maria Coronado serves as a Maintenance and Food Services Assistant at De Marillac. Maria brings six years of previous experience in facilities maintenance to the students of De Marillac Academy. Her daily work serving the students breakfast, lunch and snacks is a joy for her, as is being a part of the community at large.

Maria also serves as a part-time in-home care giver to an elderly patient. Originally from Mexico, Maria has been a part of the Tenderloin neighborhood for almost 20 years and attends St. Boniface regularly with her family. As a mom of three, she feels a special connection with the children she serves at De Marillac.
