Welcome Back DMA Students!

Dear Friends, Today marks the beginning of De Marillac Academy’s 24th school year, and it is a joy to welcome back students, graduates, and families for what promises to be another memorable and inspiring year! The last few weeks have been busy on campus as we prepared for the school year ahead. In addition to program planning, we completed a couple renovations to our historic building, including new carpet throughout and a refresh to Boeddeker Hall and Theater! The renovations add a vibrant look to our classrooms and common areas, creating a welcoming and dynamic environment for all our students.  This school year’s theme, "We Walk Together", underscores the spirit of community, collaboration, and unity that defines our De Marillac Academy family. We celebrate the support of one another and our collective growth and achievements. We appreciate that you are walking with us on this journey. Join me in welcoming several new members of our De Marillac Academy team: Melissa Skiles joins the Academy’s Administrative team as our new Assistant Principal. Jessica Leon steps in as our new Transition Advisor. Vivi Hau '16 is joining us as the Student, Graduate, and Family Services Program Associate. Tyler Knapp serves as 5th grade Associate Teacher. Kiana Gellman serves alongside Marie Fernandez '12 as the 7th Associate Teacher.  Sofia Sanchez returns to DMA as 5th grade Lead Teacher. In addition, we would like to congratulate Annie Evergreen as our new Lead 6th Grade Teacher.  Finally, Eloy Ortiz '12, a proud alumnus of our school, is now the Lead 8th Grade Teacher. As we step into this new school year, let’s embrace the spirit of "We Walk Together."  We all play a role in creating and nurturing a community where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.  Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
