Alberto Martinez is the Director of Student, Graduate and Family Services. Alberto started at DMA in 2021 as the Graduate Support Transition Advisor, working closely with the 8th grade, 12th grade, and college seniors during the key transition periods in their lives. He is a passionate coach for young people, and works closely with DMA students and graduates to uncover their purpose, interests, and goals and helps them and their families navigate the systems and resources available to get them there. 

Alberto earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University and went on to pursue a Masters in Organizational Leadership in Education from the University of San Francisco where he was a Social Justice Scholarship recipient. Alberto has more than ten years of experience in youth development and school-related work through the Jamestown Community Center, San Francisco Unified School District, and the YMCA.
